Before the advent of humans, the whole world ( land, water and air) is the natural habitat of the plants, animals and birds alike. Humans, in their early stages of progress. poached animals out of fear & for food and never in the history of this world, humans allowed animals to live peacefully/co exist with them.
To expand the human race, animals' habitat has been encroached /occupied to have human dwellings, factories, water impounding reservoirs by exploiting the natural resources. After the industrial revolution , pollution of land, water and air are all at its peak , which has a profound impact on the eco system and disturbed the natural habitat of the animals and in some cases drove them into extinction. After their extinction, now, humans are making attempts to revive the extinct species ( see. how hypocritic it is)
As a result of the adverse human activities , everyday , one can see/hear news about human animal conflict in the social media platforms , TVs and newspapers, elephants destroying crops, wild animals killing livestock, bears roaming around the streets of a town etc. Various non governmental organizations ( like Wildlife Conservation Trust ( WCT)) are working closely with various government departments to minimize/mitigate the human -wildlife conflict , deforestation and forest degradation.
A heard of elephants roaming in the field
If you look at any society, majority of the Individual humans are always animal & eco friendly but when it comes to society as a whole it is always the opposite. Amidst this gloom of things, we can see some animals and birds interacting with humans freely as can be seen from the photos below:
